Modern Apothecary's workshops can be scheduled on Thursday and Friday evenings and during the day on weekends.

The fee includes all materials and a finished product to take home the following day.
Plants as Medicine Workshop
Our goal is to have an herbalist in every home! We know what it is like to be overwhelmed by the advice we get about plants and how hard it is to know what is safe to use with our children. As a mom of two young children, I know what a challenge navigating the medical system can be when a child is ill. This 2-hour facilitation will introduce you to some natural and safe herbs and home remedies that can be used at home with children to alleviate common problems such as sleep issues, ear aches, congestion, and cough.

Do I have to make a reservation?Reservations are required for classes, but not for the project of the week which is avaliable upon arrival. It is always good to make sure to make a reservation for groups to ensure that the materials you need for your project are in stock. Each class is limited to 10 participants.

Where are you located?The studio is located at 1525 main st. in Windsor, in the Safeway shopping center.

When do I take my project home?Most projects go home with you at the end of your session. If a project needs to dry or remain at the studio overnight, you can pick it up the next day.
